Does your husband burp loudly in front of you and think it's funny? I was irritated at mine today because he just does it sooooo much lately. Then a friend told me an even worse story about her husband. So I'm thinking...maybe mine's normal?
My honey doesn't do it (around me, at least) but my boys are crazy about body noises--both real and simulated. :) The louder, the funnier. Oh and every noise absolutely must be followed by an announcement!! I've heard that some husbands are really gross but thankfully mine knows and cares just how much this would really bother me. He does laugh at the boys tho.
My husband doesn't burp out loud. But - my son thinks that burping the alphabet is the funniest thing in the world. His sister is his biggest fan, as she will laugh at him every time. Which only encourages him to do it more. We have given up on trying to make him stop. Our only request is that he does not burp out loud while everyone is eating at the kitchen table.
your husband is weird - but so are probably 80% of husbands (they are men). Burping and farting are outlawed in the kitchen - everything else is fair game. I tried to limit it other places - but the only place that I can really get him to stop is the kitchen! My husband is weird too!
I've always said thats what I love about dating and hate about marriage. They're on their best behavior when you are dating, no loud outburst, but once that ring on your finger, boy.... watch out. Mine does it too and it irritates me to no end..... I'm not perfect by no means, but at least I try to conceal it to a degree!!!!
I think your husband is normal. I have a nice abnormal one that rarely burps in front of me, but when he does it isn't loud or gross and he says excuse me....he also doesn't umm pass gas in front of me either...isn't he sweet!!? Alright Michelle, pony up and make her feel better....

LOL- No I've got one of the polite ones. He will get up and leave the room to do anything gross. And I'm very thankful.

I knew it!!!!!! Mine is weird and gross. Ugh.
Well you know the answer to that! LOL! Like I said earlier, we all get to a certain comfort level. But boys will be boys!

Mine lets it all fly.

I'm forwarding these responses to my husband.
ha! Just kidding!
Mine's pretty normal, too.
However, he does say please excuse me now. I think its only because I had to turn and stare him down first. But he became a pretty fast learner. :)
