back to the my life

I'm trying to get my life back on track. Here are two layouts I did the night before the storm. They are for my design team assignment using Scrapworks stickers and papers. We try to use as much product on one page as we can with our DT assignments - sometimes that is really a challenge. These stickers don't match the paper that well although they are made to coordinate! Kinda frustrating. I think I could have made a layout I like better if I could have used just one or two of these stickers and different paper. I do like the sticker sheet. I made the top one and didn't like it much. Then I made the second one using the remainder of the stickers. I like it a little better but neither layout is thrilling me. I'm just going to move on and start back on my April pictures. I'm trying to get all my unscrapped April pictures from years past scrapped this month. Wish me luck!

I'm cleaning and doing laundry today. B-O-R-I-N-G. I went out last night to get Caroline's Easter basket goodies and that child has everything! I couldn't find much at all that she doesn't already have. I'm ashamed to admit that. $28 later all I got was a game, a dvd, a laser light wand and some candy. Not enough to fill a huge Easter basket. Now I'm looking for some sidewalk chalk and anything else cheap but nice. Isn't the price of everything ridiculous?

Okay, see ya!

Hey Tracie...
Glad things are getting back to normal...a little anyway.

Even though it isn't your favorite -- I think the sentiment on the sticker on the first one TOTALLY goes with that picture...Caroline is TOTALLY imitating you -- she is being a little mother. Wow -- is that terrific?!?!?

Love ya girlfriend.

Love the layouts, especially the baby pic! You know I always think you're too hard on yourself... I feel the housecleaning guilt myself. Of course, I'll probably have to wait until the weekend to work since I'll be out really late every night this week. Sorry I had to cut our conversation short yesterday, but I had to get some shots of Kelsey running. See you Friday!

good idea to scrap the current month's pictures from year's past. I think you mentioned that before, I may have to try it...sometime.

Okay, how about bubbles in the Easter basket, you can never have enough bubbles and they're fun. And fruit. apples and oranges. stickers. I bought my niece a cute little purple hairbrush set at the dollar store last night- oh and some loofahs, what little girl doesn't like a loofah? and some princess pencils, the clicky kind.

those are my suggestions for basket fillers. aren't you glad i shared?
