everything old is new again

Remember my ode to Erin Lincoln and her new book, Supply Savvy, a few weeks back? Since I read it, I really do look at my stash in a whole new way. Really!

So you can imagine how excited I was when I checked out the new Garden on Two Peas today - the theme is Old Is New!! I was so happy! This is definitely one of my favorite Gardens in a while. My two favorite scrappers - Jackie and Lisa McGarvey both have layouts in it along with some of my other favorites like Rhonda Bonifay and Jamie Waters. Oh and I have to say it was a good day for 8.5x11 scrappers because Jennifer Johner scrapped the smaller size this month! Woo-hoo! If you haven't seen it yet - check it out here. (Click the names of those I mentioned to see their individual garden galleries.)

Here's a layout I did this week using new Chester paper by MAMBI and some REALLY old Making Memories letters. I must say I love how it turned out. I think it's the first time I've scrapped Caroline's paternal Grandmother. The blues totally match in real person. Like totally dude. I hate it when the scanner makes me look color blind. :)

I have another layout to share tomorrow.

Hey...stay cool.

Love this layout! Those colors are perfect IRL! Way to go using those letters!

I'm going to check the garden. Didn't even think of it! The computer has been off all weekend!

I want that paper!!!

And I have like 15 packages of those MM metal letters...I think bought so many of 'em because they were 1/2 off at Hobby Lobby and now they're just sitting pretty in the original packaging, not being used......until Erin's book arrived this weekend!
