I absolutely love the fair.

I do.
It makes me happy.
Makes me feel like a kid again.
I love to laugh and ride rides and eat junk.
And oh the smells. I love the smells.
(The food. The animals...not so much.)

So...
$51
15 anti-bacterial wet wipes
13 rides
2 roasted corn on the cobs
2 bottles of water
2 funnel cakes
2 diet pepsis
1 chocolate ice cream cone (not mine!)
1 dumb kids game
1 really dumb stuffed eggplant for a prize (stuffed eggplant???)
no trips to the porta potty (thankfully!)
too many exhibits, prize ribbons and vegetables to count...
we're home from the fair and Caroline is finally in bed at midnight!
Yikes!

Forgot to add...one quick shower for both of us!
We had a great time. I'll post pics tomorrow.
After I Lysol the fair germs off my camera.

Seriously. I'm not kidding.

I love the fair too. Funnel cakes, cotton candy, and a corn dog...I never eat corn dogs any other time of the year. I love the exhibits. We have to make an effort for my city-living children to be exposed to live farm animals, ya know. :) Last year, J walked close to a cow in the barn and the cow moo-ed. Julian looked over at me and moo-ed right back. I almost died laughing.

Can't wait to see your pictures!

There is something about fair food, isn't there? The cooking conditions are gross, yet the food is SO good.

Can't wait to see the pictures!!!
