Here's a picture of all the different chrysalis. He told us what was inside each one. Did you know that a chrysalis forms on a leaf or tree bark and it is the same color as where it forms? So the same butterfly type can be inside a green or brown chrysalis, depending on where it formed!
There was a little pond inside the greenhouse with a giant snapping turtle and lots of little turtles. This one got away and he got it out of the landscaping. I think this pic is hilarious 'cause it looks like the turtle is smiling. (You probably can't see it online but it's there!)
I only got about 5 good butterfly shots. They were flying high today because it was cool but eventually they started to come down low. I like this one because of how vibrant the colors are.
Here's a cute one of Caroline and two friends in her class. We had 27 show up which was a lot for the small greenhouse.
Thanks to Chelle Green for posting about this awesome place on your blog. I would have never known!

Hi Tracie,
I'm a friend of Sarah Devendorf, and I have another friend who homeschools that I would love to tell about this place Bloom's Butterfly House. Do you have any more info you could share? I tried to google it, but nothing came up. Do they have a web address, regular address, phone that you wouldn't mind sharing. It sounds like a really neat place - thanks!
