life-changing

I hope you're having a good weekend!

I have been having such a tremendous time at our church conference. I have just been soaking up the Word of God and letting it flow through me. This weekend has been a life-changing experience and there's still tomorrow morning to go.

I was just sitting here thinking about the fact that I have considered myself a Christian for most of my life. I was born into a Christian family so not being a Christian was really never an option. But it's only in the last year and a half that I have developed a deep and passionate relationship with the Lord.

For most of my life, my relationship with God was about what He could do for me. Now I finally see that it is not about me, it's about Him. I have a talent for singing so I can sing to Him. I have an enthusiastic personality (for lack of a better description, LOL) so I can share the good news of Jesus with others. I was blessed with a daughter so I can grow the Word in her and lead her into her ministry. God gave me my husband so I can support and love him just like Eve was made for Adam.

That may sound like gibberish to someone who doesn't believe in Jesus but to me, it's a life-changing revelation. Living for God doesn't make me or my life perfect but it makes it peaceful, joyful and worth living. He is continually changing and blessing me.

I just feel bubbly inside about what God is doing in my life and my sweet husband's who is such a blessing to me. We have both been deeply touched.

If you need something from God right now, please leave a comment and I will bring it before God in prayer, on your behalf, tomorrow morning at church. The presence of God is so powerful in that place right now, miracles are happening. Literal miracles.

Love you! Thanks for reading my blog.

PS - For any of you that like The Crabb Family, they will be singing at my church tomorrow and Larry Langston will be preaching. He is one of my all-time favorite preachers. It starts at 10 am!

I'm a bit late to the prayer request party...but since you asked :)

I'm being induced Sunday at 5am!
Pray for a quick and (relatively) painless delivery and recovery.

I'll send Claire pics soon.

P.S. Glad you are getting so much out of your conference and that you are willing to share with us!

Awesome stuff Tracie...

You know most of the stuff in my life, so if you would be willing to pick something and pray for it, I sure would appreciate it.

I love your enthusiasm, your passion, your desire to teach all of this to C and your love for your husband. Mostly, I just love you. Have a good afternoon.

Hugs,

Wow. It's such a blessing just reading about your enthusiasm about your relationship with God. It truly is all about Him and like you, I didn't "get" it for many years. Thanks for sharing your excitement. ~Gina

Hi,
Traci, you said that you would pray for something for someone. My husband and I are older and have worked very hard for the past 16 years fostering medically fragile little ones. Since we are now past 70 we think it is time to do something less strenous. We have a large home that we have worked on for the past 4 months getting it ready to sell. We listed it in the end of July, and it has been very nerve-racking waiting for it to sell. If you could pray for a quick sale, at a fair price, we would really appreciate it. Thank you so much,
Mary from MO
