do you pray?

If you believe in the power of prayer, would you please take a minute while you're sitting there to pray for my friends and family? I'm in need of prayer partners today.

1) My Mother had eye surgery yesterday to remove a cataract. We found out today that it was not all removed and she'll have to have another surgery soon. She is deeply upset about it and in pain. She has to wear dark glasses for WEEKS and will most likely miss a special trip we had planned. The recovery time on all this is not clear yet. I've been at her house today taking care of her and cleaning. Most of you that know me, know that I get sick to my stomach and pass out very easily. It was all I could do to not get sick today. I had to lie down once because I almost passed out. I can't even talk about it in person. It makes me nauseous. So please pray that I will have energy and strength to help her and that her pain will be minimal, her surgery successful and her recovery time short.

2) One of my dearest friend's Mother was just in a car accident, she is in ICU in another state and I'm terribly worried about my friend being upset. Please pray for her and her Mother.

3) One of my other friends lost a baby last week. I cannot get her out of my mind. She has a little girl a little older than mine and the little girl is taking it really hard. Please pray for healing and comfort to their family.

4) Mike's best friend growing up has a child that has struggled with cancerous tumors in his short life of six. He just had a bone removed from his leg at Vanderbilt last week and now we're hoping his little body doesn't reject it. They used to attend our church and we want to see them be a part of it again. Please pray that God will heal their little boy and lead them closer to Him.

If you could pray for those things for me, I would be in your debt. The Bible says in Philippians 4:6:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

I'm holding on to that today. Thank you! God bless.

Tracie, I am so sorry you and your family/friends are dealing with all this pain. I will definitely pray for them and for you. Please let me know how they are all doing and if there's anything specifically I can do for you to help and support you. Sometimes I think you don't get enough of that. Love you -- Tiff

Lord,

Please be with my friend Tracie. She has much burdening her heart right now. Be with her, and her mother. Let her feel your love and compfort. Help her to stay the feelings of nausia she has when she thinks of the things her mother still has to endure. Help her mother to heal quickly, and to be strong. Keep her pain at bay.

Please be with Tracie's Friend and mother. Help her friend to feel your presence, Lord. Be a compfort to her when Tracie is not able. Carry her through this moment.

Be with the beautiful little girl who has lost a baby brother or sister. Protect her heart from hardening toward you, and be with her mother. Help her mother to stay strong enough to help her daughter grieve. Help her not to neglect her own grief. Be with this family and let them feel your love. Help them to remember that it's bottom of your beautiful tapestry that we see. Not the masterpiece that you can see from above.

Be with Mike's friend. Help his family come to you. Work Miracles.

Amen.

Love you, Tracie! Even though we've never met. I'm praying for you.

Tracie,
I am praying for you and all the items you have requested. Often times I am comforted by Jeremiah 33:3: "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, nad show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." How many times the Lord gives us things that will accomplish his purpose much better than our own plans! May He be glorified through each of these situations.

I believe that every heart that reads your blog will be praying as they read your testimonies for these people. I know mine was. Tears, prayers and blessings for all.
