beautiful bottles and more

Sorry it's been so long since I blogged! I haven't had time to blog or download my photos that have been sitting in my camera. I've downloaded them now so I'll be sharing in the next few days.

This makes me happy - American Crafts bottles. 18 in all. Jenni's kits had the felt flowers last month and she was throwing out all the bottles! Doris and I snagged them and boy howdy, do I love 'em! I have all silver, pink and white in my scrap area so these fit in perfectly. I put my buttons, chipboard pieces, flowers, etc. in each one and they look great! Yay! Aren't they delightful?

I can't decide which I love more, scrapping or organizing my scrap stuff. Based on my production of layouts, I'd say organizing. ha!

We've been busy getting ready for Christmas. I have all my decorations up. I'll share a pic in the next few days, gotta get some good ones. Tomorrow we're doing a tour of homes with my church. Can't wait to see all their decorations.

I've been very productive today. I filled out all my Christmas cards. Now I only have to buy stamps and send them on their merry way. I baked cookies for a bake sale at church before the home tour, did laundry, dishes, cleaned all the furniture and floors and then ran out to meet a friend. Had Mexican food with my sister, then did a bit of Christmas shopping with Caroline. Came home, wrapped all the gifts, gave her a bath and put her to bed. I'm finishing up my laundry now so I can enjoy the weekend. I love a clean house!

Here's a bit of exciting news. I am working a bit for one of my pastors, Wess Morgan. He is going to be in two different featured articles in two prominent magazines. We did a photo shoot the other day to send to one of them. They are using my picture! I'm sooooo excited. I can't wait to see it. I think I'm more excited about this than all my scrapbook publications. Here's the picture he ended up choosing (it's much crisper IRL). I bought a new book about my Rebel last week so I hope I continue to grow with my photography. It is my passion right now more than anything except God and family. I get such a rush from a good shot. I know you can all understand!

Okay...I'm off to read my new January CK and watch King of Queens at midnight.

Stay cool!

Yeah! You are OK! Love your organization! I'm working on that in my Garage/Craft area, but it's not going to look near as pretty as yours. I'll just KNOW WHERE EVERYTHING IS! That's all I can care about right now. So many projects for Christmas, and no IDEA where half of my supplies are!

Hope things are going well in TN! I miss the south, but am starting to fall in love with the Rockies, too! We got 6 inches of snow a few days ago and today we're supposed to get 1-3 inches! ;) Love ya!

Which book did you get? I ordered The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby. I should get it on Monday. Looking forward to reading it over the holidays.

You totally scored on those bottles ... they are PERFECT! I think the better you can see your supplies the more likely you are to use them.

I am so proud of you on the picture of your pastor...you did a terrific job! Have i mentioned how totally talented you are lately? Well you are. Miss you friend...

Do you still have my kit from your class? I totally want to do it.

Love you -- Jann

OMGosh..is that seriously your home scrap space? I thought that was a Marth Stewart ad until I read what everyone else wrote...You are amazing. If you ever needed a second job you should totally be a home organizer! Congrats on getting the pic published. Way cool. I don't "get" all the photography stuff, but I like the picture!
