I would die if this happened to me....
Woman Finds Bat Living in Christmas Tree
NIPOMO, Calif. (Dec. 5) - Sheila Kearns had a Christmas tree delivered to her home on Sunday. She says she thought she'd been pricked by pine needles when she reached into the tree while decorating it. But the next morning, she found a bat hanging upside down in her home.
It turns out that the Christmas tree farm Kearns bought from keeps bats around for pest control and that one unwittingly hitched a ride to her home.
Animal control officials picked up the bat, which tested negative for rabies.
Kearns got a tetanus shot and some antibiotics, but says she's not fazed. She says she'll keep buying her trees from the same farm.
ha!! I wouldn't!

That would freak me out. My tree lives in box in my storage closet. No real tree for us!
YIKES! No thank you! I'm all about the fake prelit trees. :)
You & me both girl..I could not imagine..I think I might have a heart attack or not be able to sleep for a while! Ewe yuck!!
Well I LOVE my real tree every year but it would freak me out if any critters came with it!
Yet another reason for artificial pre-lit trees!
Ok- I have a fake tree. Let me just share that I found a way to get the tree smell... I put pine tree potpuri into the base. Then the smell is coming from the tree, and what else are you s'posed to do with the water holder when you don't need water!?
