Happy Valentines Day!

Today is my sweet hubby's birthday. I won't see him until after church tonight. He requested a strawberry pie from Shoney's so we're getting him one. I still haven't bought Valentines or made any. I think I'm going to go to the drugstore in a few minutes. I need to get out of the house for just a little bit. I'm going stir crazy.

My Mom is here doing laundry. She brought spaghetti, salad and rolls over. My sister sent me some strawberry cupcakes. VERY yummy. She's a great dessert maker.

Mike got me some candy and a CD I've been wanting for VDay....Corinne Bailey Ray. Have you heard of her? She was up for 3 grammy awards but I never heard if she won any. I love the girl. Check her out if you have time....Corinne Bailey Ray.

We got Caroline a bag of goodies: a frog, Whitmans chocolates, Tiddly Winks game, a pencil, a Ring Pop, heart shaped Gobstoppers, Trident and a book of stickers. She loved it all. I felt so sorry for her I gave it to her last night. She was very sick and pitiful. She's doing a bit better today but still can't eat much.

I think I might be a tiny bit better today. I felt like death when I woke up. As bad as when I called the ambulance Sunday. But as the day has progressed, I feel okay. Maybe I'm just getting used to the pain. I don't know. I wonder how long this will last.

Hope your day is full of love and chocolate!

Hi Tracie...I tried to peamail you, but I am not sure if it is up! Thanks for the comments on my blog!

I have been praying for you over the past few weeks and I hope you will have a speedy recovery and try to take it as easy as you can.

I do have a question for you - what grade is Caroline in? My DD is in Grade 2 and we are having issues with our Language Arts curriculm and I would love to hear your thoughts.

I do print all my photos at home on my HP Photosmart 8250 on HP Premium Plus Photo Paper with the Soft Gloss finish. It is basically between a glossy and matte! HTH!

Hi Tracie ... so sorry you're in such pain ... I'm praying for a speedy recovery for you. A note to your Roxy Roller friend who commented ... just a word of caution ... in 10 years or so, those picture you're printing at home will start to fade, if not archival ink and paper. Most printers (unless VERY high dollar) are not archival ... I know most of your blogger friends are "scrapbookers" and the whole point is to have "memories" years from now ... this was a "surprising tidbit" I learned while attending school for photography. I print everything I want MANY years from now at a professional lab. I have a small picture printer and do print "some" but for nothing I want to last for 200 years (which is the guarantee for archival paper and ink) ... scary huh?! Get better, tammy

So sorry to hear the pain isn't improving. Those cupcakes look YUMMY! Also, funny you should mention Corinne Bailey Rae. I watched the last half of Medium this week (I only saw half and I still cried), and there was a song that I LOVED...went to the Internet and found out it is this new artist....Yep, Corinne :D So, she's at the top of my "buy this cd" list right now.
Take care,
