my Mother has a gift....

for cleaning.

Especially for cleaning floors.

I went to church tonight and when I came home - she had cleaned my two upstairs bathroom floors.

Now these floors were D-I-R-T-Y.

There was so much dust in the corner of my master bath that you could literally write in it. It just collects there and makes big dust bunnies.

Keep in mind, I haven't been able to clean my house, let alone floors, for about 6 weeks.

The floors are now so clean that I keep going in there and admiring them.

They are spotless.

In fact, my guest bath hasn't been this clean since we built the house, I think.

I have tried to make them look that good but she just does it better.

In a way that makes me feel like a failure as a housekeeper.

But it's just her gift.

My gifts are organizing, making lists, keeping up with where everything is (she's bad at that), folding laundry neatly (I could win awards) and I'm sure there's something else.

But not floor cleaning.

She wins on that one.

Thanks Mom!!!!! (She doesn't get online but my sister can tell her I bragged on her. heehee)

oh my, I sooooo wish I had her near me. I haven't been able to clean my floors in FOR-EVAH b/c of my big baby belly!

They are so bad... need to call a cleaning lady this week!
