two blessings

Tiffany and I took an impromptu trip down to Alabama yesterday to visit Scrap, Etc. They are having a big event and we wanted to shop while the store was stocked. It took one tank of gas and boy howdy, was it worth it!!!!!!

Here are a couple pics of my goodies! I'm in love! I got some delightful paper: American Crafts, SEI, Heidi Grace and more. I also got 3 cans of the new Mini KI Alpha Soup!!! Love it! Plus, American Crafts sticker letters, Fontwerks journaling cards, new Bazzill 6x12 scallops, Heidi new journaling spots on a pad and more.

It was the best day I've had since January 15th when all my troubles started. We laughed and had great food and fun. Tiffany and I haven't seen each other much this entire year so we had a chance to reconnect and catch up.

I needed to get away SO BAD. I think I will be making many more trips there because that store rocks and it's only 3 hours!

I saw loads of my friends like Kelli Crowe, Kelli Darr, Jeanette, Hollye, Sherri and Michelle. They were all there for the event. But the very best part was seeing Stacy Julian! She was in the store and I talked to her for a while. We have talked on the phone once and I've worked with her a tiny bit for the magazine. She said she had been wondering where I was and I told her what all had happened to me. She had someone take a picture of us hugging. It was hilarious. Let me tell you...getting to see her was the highlight of my year!! She is my hero. I love that girl.

So I am refreshed and happy and ready to start 2007. I can't wait to get started scrapping with some of my new goodies. I'm planning to scrap all day after church on Sunday.

My second blessing is that last night was the first night I have gone to bed without pain medicince since January 23rd. What a blessing!!! My tooth is a little sore but I haven't gotten a dry socket. Thank you Jesus.

My house is clean and the laundry is done so today I'm gonna tackle Caroline's room that hasn't been cleaned in two months. Pray for me!!! ha-ha!

Have a great day and be blessed....

So happy to hear that you were able to enjoy a much needed "girls' day out". Your scrap purchases are beautiful and that would certainly inspire me to scrap. Have a blessed weekend.
