new layouts!!

I was on a scrapping roll last week.
I completed four layouts using products from this month's kits by Scrap It! So fun!
Click on each layout to see details...

I Luv You
This one uses the Sassafras Lass die cut letters.
They were a bit of a challenge to use on my small page but I ended up really loving how they look!
This Sassafras Lass paper is one of my favorite paper designs ever.
I just dig it.
So I wanted to let it shine.
The cardstock in the kit goes perfectly!
The label on the top is part of the die cut sheet.
I loved it so much that I wanted to have it for the future so I scanned it, typed my journaling on it and printed it out!
Now I still have the original. :)
That die cut makes me so happy.
There are several on the same sheet. I can't wait to use them all.
Love 'em.

Summer Fun
My other favorite paper in the Sassafras Lass kit was this green polka-dot.
I have a weakness for polka-dots.
So I left a lot of "white space" on this one too.
I just freehand cut the curve after drawing in pencil on the back.
I traced the die cut letters for the title.
I loved the font so much, I wanted to use it again!
And check out those groovy Prima flowers on the left side.
That was very fun to do.

So Close
This layout uses the Fancy Pants kit.
Yum! Love it!
The flower paper alone is worth the cost of the kit.
This is a little more distressed than I am used to but it was very easy to make it still look clean and "me."
This picture is of my sister and Caroline.
One of my faves.
That Heidi Swapp ghost butterfly was a lot of fun.
I painted the edges.
Popped a couple of rhinestones on (from the kit).
Tied the kit ribbon through one side and voila!
It reminds me of an antique brooch.
The backside of all the Fancy Pants paper is perfect for journaling.
That is always a plus 'cause it coordinates!
The American Crafts thicker letters might be my new favorite product in life.
I am going to need lots more of those.

Six
So I knew I wanted to do one more layout using all the goodies on my desk but what to do?
I have always been a bit intimidated by the Heidi ghost shapes/letters.
I picked up the flower from the Fancy Pants kit and I thought to myself, "If I only had something STICKY to go on this."
Then I looked down at the 7Gypsies gaffer tape.
Perfect!
It was really fun to use!
I just stuck it on the flower and trimmed.
The brads were the perfect finish.
Snuck that chipboard flower in there too. Love it!
I love the color of the red cardstock from the FPants kit and I was able to use one more of those AC Thicker Stickers for my "6."
I love it that I was able to do a page about this random memory that means so much to me.

I still have loads more product from both kits.
I might see how many cards and layouts I can do before I run out.
Or I might pass it along to a friend to see what she comes up with!
That sounds fun!

Hey - there are just a FEW kits left over at Scrap It's site.

So glad you're posting lo's again. Seems like it's been awhile. The journaling on the Six lo was great. What a precious memory. She's a very special little girl!
