I cleaned off my desk this weekend.
I was barely able to fit all my recently developed pictures into my photo box.
I decided to knock out some layouts of events I had a lot of pictures for.
I found two groups of pictures that had been sitting there forever.
One set was of a 2004 vacation, the other, my fair pictures from the last two years.
I have attempted to scrap these vacation pics before in a mini-album.
It didn't turn out right so I took the pics off and threw the project away.
That was last year sometime.
So I made this layout and I like how it turned out.
I made a pocket out of the left side of pics.
That gave me room for a large sheet of journaling that slides out.
The title is Heidi Swapp rub-ons and the stars are American Crafts.
After finishing the above layout, I immediately moved on to my fair pictures.
I really wanted to get as many as possible on the layout so I just put them all on, leaving room for a title.
The space next to the title was empty so I made a little patchwork, like a quilt you might see at a fair.
I bought this MAMBI sticker a while ago, just cause it makes me happy.
It worked out well for my title.
Journaling strips were all I needed to tell a little about why we love the Fair.
I have a few other favorite pics from the Fair that I might make layouts about.
Like how much I love the food or how happy it makes Caroline.
I can do more in-depth journaling on a layout that focuses on a specific topic.
But these two layouts are a place to put all those pictures that I want to remember.
My pages don't always have to be works of art.
Sometimes they are just a place holder for a memory.
