fun Friday

Yesterday was a fun day.
Caroline and I went out with our friends, Jennifer, Courtney and Kirsten.
Last week after Girl Scout Camp, Caroline and Courtney left their disposable cameras at the Wendy's in Pleasant View! (An hour away from home.)
After a frantic call to the Wendy's manager, he promised to lock them in his safe until we could pick them up.

It was actually a nice excuse to go back to the area.
There's a neat restaurant near there called Stratton's.
It's been there since 1954 and hasn't changed a bit.
The walls are filled with memorabilia and pictures from the 50's.
There's a working jukebox and they make the best milkshakes ever.
They even have those little hamburgers in wax paper.
I felt like I was either on Andy Griffith or Happy Days.
After lunch, we went to a really cute park in Pleasant View.
It's the kind I like, wide open and small. I like being able to see Caroline at all times.
She and the girls had a blast playing together.
Courtney is on Fall Break right now so next week we're going to a Pumpkin Patch.
I just love this time of year. I only wish it were cooler!
Have a great Saturday!
I am hoping to get my house clean today so I can scrap tomorrow.
I'm itching to get back to it!

Tracie...what fun you all glad you got pics of it.

Great post about studying the Word of God. Been working my way through a Beth Moore study -- and am just absolutely AMAZED at stuff I am learning -- His Word is fresh every time we open it. Thanks for the encouragement to study.

Emma LOVES that Brownie shirt!
I can't wait for her to be able to wear it next year. :)

You're making me crave a shake and burger from the 59 Diner. The
shakes are richer than a landlord hoo boy, but so, so good!
