It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Have you noticed?

I noticed Christmas music playing in Walmart and Walgreens yesterday.
Large, lighted snowflakes have appeared all the way down Main Street.
"Seasons Greetings" signs have appeared by the mall.
Every store has Christmas stuff right by the front door.

Christmas is definitely on the way. It makes me happy.
I need something to cheer me up.

Caroline has been the sickest she's ever been in her life.
Mike and I have been worried sick.

She's been throwing up daily since November 14th.
Then she had a fever of up to 102 Thanksgiving and Friday.
She was so lethargic that she told Mike to "just leave me alone to be sick."
She just wanted to be alone in her dark room which is totally unlike her.
She didn't even laugh for two days.

Finally....today her fever broke and I heard a giggle out of her.
She actually ran around a bit too. I was SO THANKFUL.
The Dr.'s decided she has a Urinary Tract Infection which is quite serious in children.
She's taking several prescribed medicines so hopefully she'll be well soon.
But we would appreciate your prayers to that effect.

I've wanted to hold her and cuddle her but she's been so feverish and sick I was afraid to and she couldn't even move off the couch or her bed!
There is nothing worse than your child being really sick.
Nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing.

I had a WHOLE BUNCH of people praying so I'm thanking God that she's on her way to being well.

We were going to clean and decorate this weekend but life had other plans for us.
So I guess we'll start in on that after church tomorrow.

I hope you're having a great weekend!

We will pray for her too. Nothing is worse, NOTHING than a sick child.

Prayer is powerful isn't it!? When I read your e-mail about her throwing up since the 14th..I was so upset about it..because I knew how much this was upsetting/scaring you and Mike..I just knew God was going to end the sickness very, very soon. So sorry she had to go so long sick like that:(
So thankful she is smiling again:)
Glad to have you back sweet "C"!!
