I gave my mom the Ali Edwards, Life Artist book and she loved it. It was fun to see her face light up.
I guess that would be a Barbie Castle that I found on Craigslist for $35. Ashley thanked me a gazillion times on Christmas day and at least once a day since.
Hey Tracie! I'm here! Just been too busy to post lately! Hellllooooo though! ;) The best gift I gave this Christmas seems silly, but Caylin loves to pretend to cook right now so we bought her lots of plastic bowls, plates, utensils, etc., to cook with and she LOVES them. Hee hee! I love to give, but this Christmas was just a simple Christmas. It was nice. :)
The best gift:That would have to be the gift we gave to Rich's parents; a night at the Opryland Hotel, dinner on us and a surprise room service visit the next morning with breakfast:)They deserved this special gift..they take care of Rich's grandmother 24/7..so they never have time for themselves. So Rich and I stayed at their house on the 27th (while they were away) and tended to Gram and the dogs. They were so excited when we told them about their gift (we had to check on their schedule, they work at Walmart during the holiday season)..Dad said "What are you trying to do, give mom a heart attack?" He laughed..he was very excited also!
oh I am here....just quiet.Best gift I gave...I think were some soldered Christmas ornaments I made...I made lots of my presents this year -- and it was great to feel like I had given a piece of myself to my friends and family.
I gave our kids tickets to High School Musical at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. They were thrilled!!!Tracy
Hello! The best present I gave this year was a scrapbook of my parents' wedding (from 35 years ago). My mom asked me to make it, but she still loved it (and cried when she opened it). What a great question for your blog. :)Happy New Year.
hey, I haven't commented because I have actually seen you IRL and talked to you! LOL!The best gift was one I was a small part of. My sister had the idea to make our Dad a custom calendar on Shutterfly. Anyway, he cried! Tears = the best gift, in my eyes!
I read every chance I get. I gave my hubby an ipod. He has been eyeing them and thought he couldn't spend the money on himself. So, I told him this year I only bought him one gift, and his expression was priceless when he opened it.
