It's 11:27 pm on Christmas Eve and I'm all set for Christmas. Are you?
My house is clean (well, as clean as I can get it).
My laundry is all done (I have some clean towels that need folding).
The gifts are wrapped.
Caroline left Santa a Little Debbie Fudge Round 'cause we are fresh out of cookies!
Tonight we celebrated with the Claiborne Family.
I got $150 cash and a great set of glassware and pitcher.
In the morning, we'll have our little family Christmas and then go to my Mom's.
We always go over there in the afternoon on Christmas.
We had a great meal tonight and my Mom has another one in the works.
We'll have ham, potato salad, green beans, sweet n sour meatballs, a cheese ball, mushroom puffs, turkey roll-ups and for dessert....peanut butter balls, banana cake, strawberry bread, chocolate Christmas tree cakes and my chocolate chip pecan pie bars.
I'm also taking a NEW sweet potato casserole dish. I'll share the recipe soon.
It's even easier than my other one and I like it better!
After all that eating, we'll want to take it easy so we're watching some new DVD's I bought Caroline...Frosty, Frosty Returns and Frosty's Winter Wonderland.
Plus my sister got The Best Christmas Pageant Ever on DVD. Can't wait to see it.
I just read the book for the first time to Caroline. It's one of my all-time faves.
Then tomorrow night, I want to drive around and look at Christmas lights.
I like to cram in as much Christmas as possible in one day. ha-ha!
Of course the day after that, we'll have to hit the after Christmas sales.
I'm off the entire week. Woo-hoo! I want to see Alvin and The Chipmunks at some point.
Plus, get together for Christmas with Tiffany, who lives out of town. (I miss her!)
I hope you have a very merry Christmas!!! I'd love to hear what ya got!
