Did you have a nice Easter?
I feel like I've had a whirlwind weekend.
We had a Good Friday service and Caroline was in a play. That was fun.
Then yesterday we had 148 children at church for a big egg hunt.
Then today, Easter service and my family and Mike's came over for dinner.
It was too cold to have an egg hunt here.
I'm going to do "fake Easter" when it's warmer and take pics and have an egg hunt. hee
Caroline and I just watched part of a movie about the life of Jesus.
It is so hard to explain to her why Jesus didn't defend himself when he was brought to trial.
I tried to explain that He knew what was going to happen and he knew he had to die.
He didn't want to get out of it.
Isn't that amazing? That amazes me.
You know He could look into the future and see exactly how they were going to hurt Him.
He was God. Of course He knew.
Caroline said, "Just think, if he hadn't died, we would still be sacrificing lambs!"
I'm glad she gets it, that Jesus was the last lamb that needed to be sacrificed.
The Lamb of God.
It hurts me to think of His suffering but I think we need to remember.
More importantly we need to remember that He is no longer dead. He's alive!
I feel sorry for Jesus that so many people don't follow Him after what he did.
Man sinned and He took our punishment. It's that simple.
I don't ever want a day to go by that I don't tell Him thank you.
Check this out, I just found this on You Tube. It's one of the Pastors I work for.
This is a concert we had at my church and this is from his project that I help him promote.
