It was a breeze since all I had to make was deviled eggs, brownies and iced tea!
My Mom made ham, green beans, potatoes, slaw, corn, rolls and banana pudding.
My MIL made broccoli/chicken casserole, potato salad and tossed salad.
We had a spread!
It was fun and not too tiring since I didn't have to cook much.
I'm still cleaning up dishes though. Had to run jet-dry on my dishwasher just now after my good glasses came out with yucky stuff stuck in them. I hate that!!!
So even though I had a good experience having company over,
I couldn't help but chuckle when I just read my e-mail and saw this....
A wife invited some people to dinner.
At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said,
'Would you like to say the blessing?'
'I wouldn't know what to say,' the girl replied.
'Just say what you hear Mommy say,' the wife answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said,
'Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?'
ha!! Too funny.
I'll share some Easter pics just as soon as I get them uploaded.
I have about 500 pics to edit from this weekend! Yikes!
