finally!

I finally finished a layout today that has been sitting on my desk for weeks.
I just couldn't find time to print the journaling on the tags.
This layout uses all Creative Cafe product - my favorite line EVER.
It was perfect for these brightly colored pictures.

The design is a scraplift of a recent layout by Cathy Zielske in Simple Scrapbooks.
I've decided I'm going to be famous for scraplifting.
I'm even challenging myself with every book/magazine I get, to see how many I can lift.
It just makes more sense to use all the great designs that are out there!
Plus, it takes the "work" out of it. I don't want scrapping to be work.
I just want to tell my stories, showcase my photos and play with my stuff.
In that order.

Now I'm going to go start on my Girl Scouts album. Wish me luck!
Happy Sunday!

Love the layout girl and your fabulous Girl Scouts album design! Good luck with it, not that I think you even need it! ;) Hugs! Happy Memorial Day!

ok, i'm still a wanna-be BGS, so is that on white card stock? the background is blending in to the blog and I can't tell the size of it. Do the tags stay there or do they slide down when you're done reading? Curious minds want to know! (and jack it) (I said jacket)

Love the page! You DO have an eye for color. Angelia is so smart. :)

Love the idea of using other peoples pages as a guide. Getting started is the hardest thing for me when sitting down, which is why I haven't scrapped in forever. I have a stack of Simple mags that I am going through and tabbing. I plan to put them in page protectors in a binder and use it for my go-to inspiration file.

Hi Tracie,
Cute layout.
That is such a great idea to challenge yourself to lift from magazines. I need to join in that challenge. Goodness knows I buy the idea books and magazines and then sit and droll over all the creative work that is sitting there in front of me, now I just need to apply all those to my own pages.
