honeysuckle hill

I was looking back over my blog and realized I never shared pics from where we went to the pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago.
What a difference the weather makes!
Our trip to Walden Farm was delightful beyond words but the trip to Honeysuckle Hill was awful.
Caroline enjoyed it but it was SO HOT!!
I have never been to a pumpkin patch when it was hot and I never will again.
I don't know what I was thinking!
It was about 80 that day but it felt worse.
We couldn't even eat our lunch for all the flies everywhere.
I feel bad that I went on a hot day because I invited my friend, Kristina, to go with us.
I hated that her first experience at a pumpkin patch was a hot one.

Here are a few cute pics I did manage to get. Look at how sweaty and red Caroline is!
This doesn't even look like her to me. Her face is all puffy and red.

I like this one of her and her friend talking. That's my friend Tammy's daughter.
Caroline asked me when they could get together again so I'll have to arrange that.

I didn't get a picture of Kristina and her baby girl.
I don't know if I'll even scrap these.
I might do a one-pager and call it "Too Hot!" or something like that.

I just pasted a bunch of layouts in my inspiration book that I cut out from magazines.
I love doing that. It relaxes me. I do it while I watch Andy Griffith on DVD.

Well...gotta get in bed. It's 2 am and I have a field trip at 9 in the morning!
We're going to the Nashville Children's Theater to see Frankenstein! Scary!!! :)
