I hope all my blog friends had a delightful Mother's Day.
The best thing that happened to me today was that I got some great pictures of my girl.
We were in Cracker Barrel and she was facing a huge window and the light was just perfect.
Here are some faves, followed by some other pictures from today.
This is the one that makes my heart sing...(although she had taken her barrette out).. Love those little purple painted fingernails...
A genuine smile - a rarity in my pictures....
Caroline and her Grandma (Mike's Mom)
This is my favorite picture I've ever taken of Mike and his Mom -
Not my favorite of me but it's growing on me. LOL
Here are my Mother's Day cards - inspired by Renee Camacho's recent card doings.
Thanks Renee! (See her cards here. I love how these turned out, I'll use this again.)
I got these fabulous kraft card bases and envelopes at Michaels and I'm going back for more!
I used a flower punch and hand cut the green stem and leaf.
The center is an epoxy from a $1 pack at Joann.
I ran the white background thru my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. Love that!
The stamp is Heidi Grace acrylics, also from Joann. One of my favorite stamp sets.
This was the inside - just simple with a place for money or gift cards...
Next time, I'll share some Easter pictures. I'm going backwards with my holidays. LOL!
