a new card to share...

My friend, Jennifer, gave me an old Deluxe Cuts card color-blocking template.
She found some REALLY old things in her stash and we had a chuckle.
I was watching a show last night and saw it sitting next to me so I decided to make a card.
Since it was a "test drive" card with the template, I hated to use my card stock.
I had a piece of chipboard sitting next to me so I decided to use that for the base.

I cut each section out of a scrap of white cardstock.
Then I picked some other colors from my scraps, just whatever seemed to go together.
I punched some circles and added a sticker letter and some rub-ons.
Voila! It's a card! It wanted to pop open so I tied it together with a bit of ric-rac.

I absolutely love these Doodlebug tiny rub-ons.
Anyone know where I can snag some more?

Going to a crop tomorrow - trying to decide what to do!
Peace out - have a great weekend!

That is CUTE! Man, I remember those templates!! :) Try for the DB rub ons. They have tons of DB stuff -- I'm still able to get some of the old Just My Type alphas that I still love.
