Hope you liked my laundry tip - now here's a cleaning tip.
Whatever it is that you dread the most - do that first.
Once it's done, it's all downhill from there!
For instance, I DREAD cleaning my bathroom floors.
They are hard to clean and it absolutely wears me out.
It makes sense to clean the vanities, then the toilets and the floors last so that's how I've always done it.
Except the floors take so much energy that by the time I'm done, I'm literally red-faced and sweating!
So this week, I decided to start my cleaning with the floors.
It was so much easier!
I had more energy to tackle the most difficult task.
I cleaned all 3 bathroom floors and then the floors were so clean and beautiful, I was motivated to quickly finish the other two tasks.
I cleaned the toilets and the counters and sinks last.
I ended up spending less time because I went faster!
Another tip is....every night when I wash Caroline's face, I have a washcloth that is barely dirty.
After washing her face, I take that wet washcloth and go over either her bathroom counter or mine.
It takes the dust off and the scum of the day.
I also keep flushable Scrubbing Bubbles wipes by the toilet and try to wipe it down every couple of days.
Keeping on top of the bathrooms helps me feel more peaceful because I know I have done what ought to be done!
