tissue paper flower

Here's a simple card I did a few weeks ago. I saw this tissue paper flower on a card on Pinterest. She didn't tell how to make it so I grabbed some tissue paper and just started twisting and twisting, tighter and tighter until I had a long strip. Then I rolled it into a flower shape and using Glossy Accents for adhesive, I glued it onto cardstock. Glossy Accents dries in a matter of seconds so after it was dry, I cut around the back of the flower and then adhered it to my card! By the way, this is new "Miss Caroline" paper by My Mind's Eye. One of my favorite lines ever!!!

If you haven't tried Glossy Accents by Ranger as an adhesive, you do not know what you're missing! Heidi Swapp always says it is the best! I love her videos for mycraftchannel.com. I saw her make another type of tissue paper flower so I figured it would work for this as well. I'll definitely be using it as my go-to adhesive when I need something that really holds!
