today I got to see where football players shower.

For reals.
Caroline and I went on a field trip with some friends today to LP Field - home of the Tennessee Titans. Woot-woot!
We loved it!
Neither of us know a flyin' fiddle about football.
(Hmmm....good alliteration Tracie.)
But of course we wanted to see where the most important game in town is played!

Here we are....all happy and excited that we got there on time!! Go me!

The facility coordinator showed us the field. I had never been to the stadium, since I'm not a football watcher. It was pretty cool to see how massive it was!

Let's just say, I wouldn't want to sit on the top row. Ugh. The mere thought makes me green and I'm not scared of heights!
I'm so glad we had some friends with us to take our pictures - that never happens!

The weather was perfect today. I think around 75 degrees and sunny. Beautiful! My favorite part of the tour was when we stopped on a really high level and realized we were across the river from downtown Nashville. I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS wanted to get this shot! I'm going to blow it up HUGE-MONGOUS and make a page about Nashville.

We visited the locker room and saw the players' lockers.

Caroline was highly horrified to learn of the group shower room! She had never heard of that before! It is strange, if you think about it.

We also got to see the suites which are only $7,000 a game to rent. Any takers? :)
Plus, your food and it usually totals around $4,000. No prob, right!

On the way out, we got a cute Titans bag, a 12th man flag and a hat.
The tour was only $1 so I think they paid US to be there. ha!

Okay, tomorrow I promise to be back with more craftiness. I bought lovelies today for my class.
Will be working on it all this weekend. I'll give you some sneak peeks and sketches tomorrow.

I was invited to a company Christmas party at LP field one year. It is a very cool facility to wander around. Love that photo of Nashville. In my 5 years there (I just recently moved back to Florida), I never was able to THAT shot. I have several driving south on I-65 as you come into Nashville, but never that shot across the Cumberland. It will look fab blown up! :)

It is the very interesting tour! I saw a tour similar to this on the website: I find here a lot of football tour proposition.
