I finished my birthday mini-album so I will take some great pics of it today and post tomorrow. Promise.
I thought I would show you today how hilarious my stash of October Afternoon is!
It is my favorite line of scrapbooking products ever.
I have probably 80% of all the papers they've ever made. Maybe more.
The only time I've used any of it, was for a mini-album that got started but never finished.
Here is my stash of my beloved papers and sticker sheets....this is not all of it - just what I keep together.
I just love them too much!
See how thick the paper stack is?
I bought a new sticker sheet (Farmhouse) this week and a few sheets of Sasparilla.
I have GOT to use some of this y'all!
I have had other things like this in the past that I hoarded and now they are so old that I am selling them in a yard sale.
One is a huge stash of SEI. Also KI Memories. Also American Crafts.
I cannot let OA be sold in a yard sale one day!
I've learned the hard way from purging recently that I need to use what I love and then I can enjoy buying more.
So how can I motivate myself to use it? I just love looking at it and no project seems worthy.
You could take away all my other supplies and leave me with OA and I'd be happy.
I did pick out some of it to go with my Girl Scout Camp pictures from last summer.
I need to work on this project next before this summer's camp happens, which is in like 6 weeks.
See how cute the colors are? The Campfire line is perfect!
I have it all sketched out and ready to go as soon as I work on my cards class for this month.
So I guess my crafty goal for this week will be:
- make 6 blank mini-albums to sell at my craft fair on June 4th (4 weeks left to prep)
- make 2-3 cards for this month's cards class - just design, not prep
That ought to do it. I have the mini's all sketched out and the paper bought.
So those are my goals.....maybe putting them here will keep me motivated. :)
Check back tomorrow for my birthday celebration mini.
Just so I won't feel bad - what scrapbook supplies do you hoard? Tell me I'm not the only one!

Oh my goodness, that's a big hoard! I don't have anything that is completely unused, though sometimes it takes me a while to open something. Some precious things are harder to use, but if I feel myself worrying about putting a new item onto a layout I think 'why did I buy this again? I need to USE it'!
So go on, use those pretty OA pieces. The camp pictures do look like they'll be perfect with it! x
I too love OA papers. While I don't exactly hoard it, I do find that I use it less often than I thought I would. It's a conundrum.
Love OA! YOu have to challenge yourself to use them - you can do it! LOL!!
Wow, that is a great collection. Try and think of it this way: you love it too much NOT to use it. :)
That is a great collection--you'll love it even more on the finished layouts because you'll know you used your most favorite stash. Enjoy
I've gotten so much better at using the things I love. I just remind myself that they will have something new soon and it'll be on to the next great thing.
So, get that stuff down on a layout with your pictures so you can really enjoy it!
Love your OA stash...and I learned a long time ago that when I point a finger at someone there are always 3 pointing back at myself...so far be it from me to point at your stash...in fact, I quite enjoyed looking at it! Wouldn't it be fun to just put it all in a 12 x 12 album and look at it!? I know,...I need help! serious counseling! And I tell myself all that stuff about, "Just use it! They are going to make more pretty stuff! Thats why you bought it, right?!" Truth? It doesn't always help...but I am getting better! Oh well,...it's my happy thing in life! They have doctors for this sort of thing! And now they even have TV shows about it! Yikes!
I thought I was the only OA hoarder! So glad I'm not the only one. We need intervention! lol!
WOW, I am green with envy! :) This is a great collection...enjoy!
