Two of the girls moved to another town and my older two, including Caroline, are staying with me.
I am working so much now that I can only do Girl Scouts during the day when we do school.
Thankfully, the other girl is also homeschooled so that works! We'll work it into our schedule.
A couple weeks ago, I took the girls to Opry Mills, in Nashville for a day of shopping to use up their cookie money.
We had lunch at the Aquarium Restaurant and it was delish!
A hilarious thing happened when we walked out into the mall. I wanted to get their picture in front of the sign.
I had my 50mm lens on and it is not a zoom lens (you zoom with your feet) and so I got waaaayyyy back to take the picture.
I had to wait until no one was behind them and it did seem a bit funny how far back I was.
I kept saying - "wait just a second - stay still!"
Well this old man walks by, sees me a mile away from them and says gruffly, "You need to move closer."
I'm sure he thought I was off my rocker - being so far back.
I just chuckled because I guess a lot of people don't know how to take a picture but I was getting the perfect shot.
Here it is....(this is exactly how I took it - no cropping involved)....
It made me think about how quick we are to judge someone else when we don't know the whole story.
I am sure he thought I was crazy because he couldn't see what I saw in my camera.
Anyway.....it has stayed with me and when I see this picture, I think of it again!
Here are some more fun shots from the day....
I wish I had gotten more pics! I carried my camera around the whole day and forgot to take many!
Peace out people. Word to yo mother.
