I'm back!

Well let's face it - I fell off the blogging wagon. It is so easy to do! I will do better - promise!

So let's see - what's been goin' on with me?
I've been a little like a hamster on a wheel - trying to keep up with everything I have going on.

My to-do list is full of crafty to-do's and I'm happy about that but I still have to fit all the laundry, dishes, house cleaning, homeschooling, church job, etc. in to my day.
If I get involved in cleaning - it's hard to stop and be creative and if I start being creative, I let the laundry go.
I haven't found a good balance yet for working from home, which is sad, because I've been doing it since 2007!!
But I've added more to my list in the last couple of months.

I've been sitting here a LOT.
I make a lot of lists and plan to get things done, but then things get in the way.
I either have really productive days or do nothing. Gotta work on that.

We haven't started school yet. I actually just ordered Caroline's curriculum tonight!
That's the latest I've ever waited to order. We will start one week from Monday.

Tomorrow I'll be working on samples for my Michaels classes and also prepping for my two cards classes next week.

Here's something I'm working on tomorrow. It's a Martha Stewart glitter kit.
I'm teaching a class with it, Friday the 17th at 6:30 pm. It's only $10 and you make four cards with this kit.
The kit is $19.99 but you can use a 40% off coupon from Michaels.

Check out my new business cards! It's weird because they are blank on the back and my handwriting is horrible!
I'd love to hear ideas for how to make them interesting and have my info.
I'm thinking of pasting a white piece of cardstock that's been printed on, right to the back.

I'd love to hear from any of you that work from home - how do you balance work and home?

I'll be back tomorrow with a new card and I have lots more to share so check back soon!

It is a constant thing.... looks like you have plenty to balance ;) I just got that glitter kit cause it's on sale at 2peas too. Somehow I did make five layouts in two days, but having a new kit just reenergized me!

Trying to balance out is always hard. I am the same way, it's either I completely concentrate on house work or craft stuff...I can't seem to do both or incorporate the two. I am hardly blogging for the summer as well, mainly due to being so busy with the kids. I am hoping that will change when they return to school cause I am so behind in everything! I can't wait to see what you do with this kit!

Good luck on figuring out the work at home thing, and I love your peek into your beautiful space!

Hmmm...the business cards could always be stamped (if you have any of those little mini magnetic stamp sets). Or can you run them through your printer? Figure out exactly where to print each section, and lightly adhere the card to a piece of paper, using repositional adhesive on the paper not the card. And then give out the fewest cards possible! lol

I love your crafting space. Balance is so hard sometimes. I work outside of the home 4 days and from home one day. I've found lately that I get more done on that day at home than I do the other 4 days-less distractions, oddly enough. I'm a big fan of project lists. :)

Love your crafting space. Embrace our handwriting, just practice what you want to write in those spaces a little first. Good luck teaching.
