Our classroom holds about 8 comfortably - but for a crop - 6 works better if we want to spread out.
Last month, I had 6 + myself!
This month I only had 3 + myself but that's okay! I'll get 'em back next time.
I think this month, most people were tuckered out from attending the CK Convention the same day.
(More on that later this week.)
The first month's crop I organized a huge cabinet in the classroom.
This month, I made a big bulletin board advertising my classes. I forgot to take a picture, dang-it.
Here are some pics from the first crop:
All of the people looking at the camera are friends of mine + their friends. They came to support me at my first crop.
The lady with her back turned is a regular customer at Michaels and came in late but had a blast!
Here are some things they worked on...
A big thanks to my friend, Tiffany, for coming all the way from Bowling Green, KY AND a big thanks to Teresa and Brandy for coming and bringing their friends. This weekend, Teresa came back and brought two friends and if she had not, I wouldn't have been able to have the crop! Thank you Teresa-Kay! You are precious!
I really appreciate the support from people who I just met one day in a scrapbook store or at a crop. I'm truly blessed to have such a sweet group of girlfriends who love this hobby!
If you're local - I'll be cropping at the Rivergate Michaels, the last Friday of every month and it's only $5 and you get a 10% discount of your entire purchase. Let me know if you're interested!
Hope you're staying crafty! I am! Tomorrow I plan to make a "road trip" mini-album for my class next week. (The class has only one spot left and I haven't even made the project. Yikes!) I also need to prep for my "Sketched Out!" class at Michaels this Friday.
