So I found this paper at Hobby Lobby and when I see paper like this, I normally shy away from it because it's cute, but just too busy.
I challenged myself to use it and others, to show that as long as it is small in scale, it will still work well for a card.
I cut the title on my Cameo and popped it up. The gold paper is from Hobby Lobby and is really thin but I like the color.
The white strip is a Fiskars punch.
Just super, super simple but showcasing the cute Santas.
The inside says, "Have a holly jolly Christmas." because he looks so jolly. Here's a side-view:
This week, I was super excited to see that Barnes and Noble had their big 50% off clearance. I always score on that sale!
I got a "YOLO" (love it) journal for half price and a country decorating book for about $4.50! Love it!
I also splurged and got the Christmas ideas mag. I've bought them every year for a decade! Can't stop now!
I also got a steal at Michaels this week. I spent one hour looking at the stamps, trying to find one appropriate for a class.
I couldn't resist this one for $1.99! I'm thinking of using it in my cards class at the scrapbook store and having my students color it in.
Do you think it would be asking too much to have them bring watercolor pencils or colored pencils or markers? I guess I'll need to experiment with all 3 mediums first on it.
Check back tomorrow for another of my favorite bloggers! Sorry I've been MIA this week! Life is busy!
