finally focused.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I'm really making some life changes in 2013.
After a couple weeks consideration, I have made the decision to no longer teach papercrafting classes locally.
With the closure of my local scrapbook store and deciding to leave Michaels, it seemed like the right time for a change in direction and FOCUS.

As soon as I finish out this month's classes - I will be directing all my attention to online ventures!
I'm getting back to my scrapbooking roots y'all!
I really do love scrapbooking and documenting memories.
I've gotten away from it without meaning to and shifted too much to card making. Gotta fix that!

Among many, many ideas for this blog - I want to learn all about making great quality videos to share with you.
My passion in life is talking about and teaching papercrafting aka scrapbooking.
I have so many great ideas that I have to constantly write them down.

So please stay tuned as I plan to begin this effort in earnest on February 1st with a series of Valentine's Day cards and projects.

Meanwhile....check out this delightful little stamp I picked up at Tarjay last week for $4.99.
I experimented with it today.
I'm not really a big fan of stamping the date like this but I LOVE the words so I'm working on using just that part.
I think I'll need some scotch tape to put over the date after I ink the words.
The ink wanted to jump over to my cute little words.
But other than that, I love the little tiny phrases and I see myself using this a lot to stamp on little tiny embellishments.
I gots lots of those!

Right now I'm prepping for my last cards class so I'll be back to share those cards later this week!

Craft on my crafty friends! Craft on!

Wishing you all the best for 2013. I too feel the same way, my first love is scrapbooking and I somehow neglected that and veered towards cards making. I'll continue to make cards but not as much. I'm loving PL right now and hoping to get caught up as I'm way behind. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us. :)

I hate that the Scrap Room is closing. It's so sad to see all of our stores come and go. It really leaves me and my clubs hanging. I've got to figure out an alternate location. "A Year of Memories" is a year long "thing" that you just can't quit in the middle of. We'll see. Glad to hear you are coming back to scrapbooking and can't wait to see what you have in store.

I'm very interested to see what you do with your videos. Do you have experience with that or are you starting from scratch? I've been considering doing some, mainly about how i'm planning on going through Project Life but vids are so intimidating to me!

I must get that stamp! Going to Target tomorrow!
