Here's a sweet little birthday card I made using October Afternoon's Farm Girl line.
October Afternoon is my all-time favorite paper company!
This is simple but would be a great one to sketch if you're looking for a card design to replicate often.
I'm on a 3D kick lately so I made the butterfly with my Silhouette Cameo and adhered it in the middle only.
I always use Glossy Accents when I want something to stick like concrete! (I learned that from Heidi Swapp.)
Here's a side view of the butterfly - I added some dots in the middle to coordinate with the polka dot paper.
This card uses my new favorite stamp set from Hero Arts. I snagged it at Target for about $7.99.
I love the font and the best part is that it has three choices of sentiments so one can go on the outside and one inside!!
Here's the inside...
Boy howdy was it fun stamping on my beloved kraft card base!! Stamping on kraft is now my new favorite!
I think it's because the paper is already imperfect so any imperfections in your stamped image are not as noticeable.
Love!!
I'm working on something funny to share with you.
I'm cataloging my collection of October Afternoon product. I'll show you how next time.
Stay crafty my friends. Stay crafty!
