Valentine's Day Card Series: Card 1

Happy Friday crafty friends!
It's February 1st and to me, February means Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays to craft for because I love pink and red and hearts and everything lovey and sweet.

Plus, it's a day when most people give a card to the ones they love and I love cards! :)

For the next 14 days, I'll be sharing loads of ideas to inspire you!
I have a few guest bloggers who'll be sharing their cards too and I think you're going to love them.

Here's inspiration piece's a patchwork style card made in a non-Valentine color scheme.
The "love" is a cut from my Silhouette Cameo.
This card design would work great with any of your scraps that are fun and happy.
The base of the card is 5x5 and I ran it through my printer to add "Happy Valentine's Day" to the inside.
For a finishing touch, I used a ruler and fine tipped pen to make stitch lines around the perimeter.

So think outside the box when it comes to Valentine's cards and colors.
You don't have to use a Valentine's themed line to make a great card!

Back tomorrow with more inspiration.
Stay crafty my friends!
