storage for Project Life cards

I realize I've been a horrible blogger this summer.
I haven't been very scrappy - too busy having fun and enjoying my happy life.

Of course I always have time to of my favorite activities in life. :)
My latest obsession has been to find a great way to organize my Project Life cards.

I have only purchased one official PL kit - Honey. I kept 1/4 of it and one of my besties gave me 1/3 of her Kraft kit.
I also have loads of papers I've cut up that are made with 3x4 and 4x6 spots.

I really want to organize all of these by color but for now, I needed to find a place for them!
Better than this!
After looking online at a lot of different ideas, I decided I wanted a long, skinny container.
One night, in Walmart, I found the perfect thing! In the bathroom accessories. It was a bit expensive at $8 but I couldn't resist!

I put my 4x6 journaling cards in the back and my 3x4's in the front and felt happiness. :)
But I knew that I would quickly outgrow this solution at the rate I acquire PL cards.
As luck would have it, last week in Home Goods, I spotted the same organizer, only smaller! 3x12! Only $3.99.
So now that my 3x4's had a home, I decided to put my scraps which are cut down to 4x6 in the back of the larger container.
 Here's how it ended up!
Above back to front: all my patterned paper scraps, all my cardstock scraps sorted by color, some new 4x6 pads & my 4x6 PL cards.
I just think these containers are perfect!! Definitely look for them if you're looking for PL storage.

They fit perfectly in the bottom of my hutch, alongside my tiniest embellies and mixed media supplies.
Happy, happy, happy!

Stay crafty my friends.

Super cute! Love that they are clear and fit perfectly. I have the Antonius (I think?) plastic inserts for my Raskog cart and I don't love them because they're just slightly not wide enough at the bottom.

Gotta love when you find the right storage!

Perfect size! I ended up taking all of the cards out of my raskog insert because the fit wasn't right either. Now, they are a mess again! Thanks so much for the tip :)

I love this solution. I haven't broken mine out yet, but since I just ordered the Blush kit on top of another one I may just need to do this sort of thing. TFS!

So good to see you blogging again...and I totally look to you for organization - as I love having my stuff organized - but am not always good at coming up with workable solutions. Love this idea! I'm not doing a formal Project Life, but I have been doing some "event" scrapping with these pages and PL cards...kind of my alternative to mini albums at the moment.

I will totally keep my eyes peeled for these....thanks for sharing your BRILLIANCE!
