new supplies for December Daily

I know it's still October but I'm super excited to get started soon on my December Daily base album.
Sadly, our Archiver's is going out of business so I visited it last week to take advantage of the 30% sale.

I was pretty surprised to see a ton of new Christmas lines in stock so I picked up everything I needed for this year's December Daily!

My plan is to look through my stash and pull out a few items to go with this but this will be my go-to stack.

So here's everything I got....(click to see in detail)....

Some of the lines I picked up are:
- Heidi Swapp's "Believe"
- Simple Stories "December Documented"
- Echo Park's "Tis the Season"
- Teresa Collins "Santa's List" (die cut sheet only)

I absolutely LOVE how well they all work together!!
The red is the same throughout all three lines and there's a lighter and darker green.
There's kraft and gray and black chalkboard which I wouldn't normally think go together but in this pile - I love it!
I picked up some Jillibean alphabet stickers in red and green to use throughout the album.

I'm using a 6x8 red Snap album by Simple Stories that I got on clearance for $3.99. (Score!)
I plan to use a mix of layouts, enlarged photos and about every third page, I'll use a divided protector that's made for those albums.
See the lovely acrylic sheet with stars on it above? I also got one with tiny red hearts. I'll stick those in randomly.

One thing that has held me up in the past is that I prefer Christmas lines with a cream background.
I was very surprised to see that the Simple Stories line has both cream and white!
That made me happy because there's white and cream all throughout this stash of product.

Mixed in to my album will be these lovely Snap divider pages.
Some of these I adore and some I will likely cover with another pattern. I actually regret not getting more of the Simple Stories Christmas line in regular papers but I am planning a trip to a big scrap store soon so I'll pick some up.

I LOVE the one that says "LET IT SNOW" and is chalkboardish. I love the numbers one, the cutout of MERRY and DEC 25, the scalloped one and the ornaments hanging. The rest I'm not sure about.

I'm pretty excited about making my album. I plan to do it the first week of November!

I'd love to hear about your DD plans if you're making one! Stay crafty my friends!

First of all...I am sad that Archivers is closing! I don't get there often...but I do enjoy getting to see the product lines in person prior to purchasing them....boo!

Love all the goodies you got! May have to pick a few pieces up myself...I am REALLY looking forward to doing a DD/Journal Your Christmas project this year.

My plan, right now - is to do MOSTLY a December Daily - but on the days that I don't have much to document - I am going to pull a few of the prompts from Journal Your Christmas and use those. I purchased one of the new Tim Holtz Worn Cover:Christmas Wishes books. Have some of his divided page protectors and will mix those in with just normal mini album pages...although, after seeing your goodies - I may have to get some of the Simple Stories papers and dividers as I REALLY liked them!

I should go to bed - but now my brain is all a flutter with planning my DD!

Love ya girlie...and miss you! Hope we can get together soon! Maybe we could make a run to Archiver's together sometime!

Wow, your supplies look great! I like what you picked out way better than the kits I've seen for sale.
