weekend update

As I'm writing this it's Tuesday morning at 1:00 am and I just thought to myself, "Oh it's Friday, the bank will be closed tomorrow."

I often get my days confused. I guess that's what comes from working at home and homeschooling.

So it's 1:00 am but to me it still feels like Monday so here's a little weekend update for ya.

Friday night I just hung out at home, being totally non-productive as I have been being all of January.
I watched Undercover Boss in which the boss bought someone a house! (A house!) Cried my face off.
I watched Shark Tank in and remembered I love Shark Tank! (It makes me smarter.)
Then I watched 20/20 and it was depressing so I won't share.

All the while, my desk sat behind me in a state of total chaos with only 8 pages of December Daily done.
(Don't judge please.)

Saturday Caroline had a basketball game and I was so cold so I snuggled with hubby on the bleachers and every time her team made a goal, I screamed so loud he jumped. :)

Then we went shopping where I over-indulged my purse addiction (see yesterday's post).
But I did get this cute pic of the girl and my honey.
This is after they walked around the entire mall while my sister and I were in Vera Bradley.
The mall that normally takes me at least two hours just to walk and this is a man who likes to shop. It's the Vera vortex.

Sunday we had an unexpected treat at church. The man who plays Jesus at The Holy Land Experience in Orlando came to sing for us.
Our friend at church is producing an album for him. It was really great to meet him. He is super nice.

It turned out to be a beautiful day and we were just giddy about the weather - a high of 64! Caroline played outside!

Before lunch, I got this pic of Caroline and I love, love, love it! This is the Instagrammed version.

After church, I cozied up in my pajamas and watched Shark Tank On Demand all day while surfing the web.
A perfect Sunday afternoon, if you ask me!

I did manage to get this drawer cleaned out. It holds my miscellaneous holiday supplies and a few keepsakes.
I am just now finishing up getting all the Christmas decor down and this was so packed with crap that it wouldn't close!
I store some vintage Christmas paper goods in here so I had to purge it and I'm so happy I did.

Today we're back to freezing our tushies off. I hope to get my house clean and work on a project I am in the midst of.

I have a big announcement coming in a few days that I'm dying to share but I can't until I can. It's fun!
Peace out - word to ya mother and try to stay warm!

It sounds like a relaxing weekend with some nice moments.

We didn't put up Christmas decorations this year since we were traveling for most of the month. Sadly, I have to put the decor away since it's still out in the dining room mocking me.

Stay warm! It's a lot colder here for the next few days.

Sounds like a perfect weekend to me. Also, I have to say, despite my reputation for being super organized, your work space has nothing on me when I'm working. It always looks like a bomb went off! So, you don't judge ME!!
