finding inspiration - Crate Paper Blog

Our topic this week on ScrapGals is Finding Inspiration.
I often visit manufacturer blogs so I thought I'd share a few ideas from some of my faves.

Today's ideas are from the Crate Paper Blog.
Here's the thing....I may not always see a layout I want to copy in its entirety, but I almost always find something that inspires me.
I'll show you what I mean....

From Megan Klauer on the Crate Paper blog...I love how this title curves along the circle of the paper:
I'm sure I have some paper with circles on it somewhere and I want to remember this!

I love how this layout has the layers at the top, perfect for a title. I think I will copy this and add more photos and a journaling block.
I love the look of this layout by Melissa Stinson, whose work I love.

I love the way Adrienne Alvis put strips of journaling on this tag!

Actually, I love the entire layout and how the design is centered in the middle. Love the colors too!

I love everything about this layout by my friend, Marie Lottermoser. I might lift this 100%!

I absolutely LOVE the quilted look with different patterns on this layout by Piradee Talvanna!
I will definitely make some version of this. I can see me just using a bunch of patterns I like and I love the white above.

And last but not least, this is by a featured guest on their blog and I just love the THEME of the layout!
I love magazines more than anything so this inspires me to do a layout about the ones I love.

So here's the deal - I could really scrap off this one blog post for about a month.
There is enough inspiration here to drive my designs for the next several layouts.
So my challenge to you is this...don't just look for layouts to copy exactly. Look for bits of inspiration & then use those as starting points.

Let me know your favorite sources of inspiration!! I want to check them out myself!
