shades of green

Hello again! I have a raging cold and am quite miserable but I promised to share a few of my holiday cards so here are two I made for my class called "25 Cards of Christmas."

They both feature a similar shade of green and both feature stamps.

First, this card features a silhouette of a tree cut on my Silhouette Cameo. The white piece is popped up and the green patterned paper glued behind. Then I used red stickles to add some interest, kind of like ornaments on the tree. I stamped the greeting using red ink and easy-peasy done!

The base is a pre-made kraft card base and inside I printed this...

Next up, I used a cream card base and added some thick green and red paper on top. I topped that with a mat of red and a block of cream on which I stamped a green wreath with chalk ink. After allowing the stamped image to dry, I used the red stickles again to add round dots. I used Archival black ink to stamp "joyful greetings."

Inside, I printed this...
This is a good design to replicate if you're making cards in multiples. It's quick and easy if you're a practiced stamper and it's very flat which makes it easy to mail. Change the design out with any design stamp and any sentiment and any patterned paper to make it your own!

Be back soon with a few more to share. :)

I love that Christmas tree - so simple but pretty! I've been using that "Joyful Greetings" stamp set today. It's one of my favorites. Hope you feel better soon!
