live inspired: cruise and crop review

How's it going with you? I've been missing in action a bit here but I have a good reason why. The first part of my October was spent teaching on a cruise with Crafty Jen Schow. You may have seen my barrage of photos on Instagram and if so, are wondering how it all went so Jen and I decided to tape an episode of Live Inspired to answer all the questions we've been getting. You can listen here:

As we say in the show, we are already making plans for a new cruise adventure in January 2018 so if you are interested in joining us, please comment below and let us know. The price will be around $600 per person for a 5 night, 6 day cruise plus a $200 crafting fee. We will have specific details soon so you can make a more informed decision.

To see loads of pictures from the cruise, check out my Instagram feed at this link.

After the cruise, I was busy getting our life back in order and doing laundry from a 9 day vacation (we spent a few days in Florida). Because of that, I didn't have a Live Inspired last week but in case you missed the week before, I want to make sure you know about an awesome episode I taped with Andrea Gray aka Retrohipmama. She is so wonderful and the show so fun, I would hate for you to miss out on hearing it! Here's a player for that show...

I'm working hard on getting Ready, Sketch, Go! Volume 3 videos edited and uploaded so be sure to check back this Tuesday for the release of that class.

Thanks for listening and stopping by!

Hey girl! I am very interested in a cruise & crop for January 2018. I was wanting to go this time too, but already had two scrappy weekends booked in the 3 weeks before the cruise.

Just for clarification....approximately how much of the cruise did you spend cropping and how much did you spend with your family? DH would definitely want to go and I just need to be able to tell him. :)

Ruth: Here was our schedule...
Sunday: Meet and Greet at 3:30 pm (about 30 minutes)
Monday: Classes All Day until around 2:30 or 3 pm
Tuesday: Cozumel (no crafting)
Wednesday: Classes Until Lunch
Thursday: Jamaica (no crafting)
Friday: Haiti (no crafting)
Saturday: 1:30 pm to 9 pm Crop

Those were our scheduled events but any of our crafters could go in the room together or alone at any time and some of them did but we did not, except maybe on the day of Cozumel, I think in the afternoon a few people hung out there and cropped before dinner. You would not want to miss the classes but other than that and we will have one long crop, you would spend time with your husband. That's what I did and it worked great! Mine loved having free time to rest, get in the pool and work out.

Would love to spend time with you in person!

Yes, I am seriously interested! Some of my family who would be going along to keep me company are most interested in the dates you will choose, so I will be stalking FB, Instagram and your blog for the next couple of weeks. This trip is giving me a serious target for several goals that I have set, and I also plan to attend the Utah retreat, so this will be a big year for me. So very excited!
